His talent cannot be denied, as an artist, a mogul or even as a trendsetter. Shawn “Jay Z” Carter has been considered one of the best and most influential rappers in our modern generation, however many, even myself, wondered if he was I dare say it “WASHED UP”. Well my friends I can say with no uncertainty that the boy from Brooklyn is back with a bang. His new album “The Blueprint 3” has electrified hip hop audiences and is seen as his best work to date. With this he undeniably proves that he still has the goods to be thought of as one of the A-list acts on the scene. Hits on the album such as, “Run this town” featuring Rihanna and Kanye West which gives audiences a mixture of the young songstress at her best alongside the brilliant mind and timeless lyrics of Kanye West and to top it all of the stamp of class from the legend himself what more can you ask for. Another hit on the record which is getting a lot of airplay is the song entitled “Empire state of mind” which he collaborated with Alicia Keys to produce a soulful yet hardcore joint which is now known to many now as the anthem for New York City. Both songs are currently in the top ten bracket on the billboard charts where they are continuously rising.
