The musical charmer 

A delightful experience is what DJ Charm brings to the table whenever he plays, almost casting a spell on everyone present.  Born Sheldon Campbell, DJ Charm is a talented upcoming selector who is well versed on all genres of music.  

With a fun loving and jovial personality, he has been honing his skills on the turntables since the age of fifteen is also able to play the piano and the drums.  It was until last year however, that he decided to seriously take up an active role in the music industry as a selector. 

He broke into the industry by starting his own sound Diplomatz Sound but after a few years, he is last man standing from that group.  Undaunted, he pressed on and continued to pursue his musical career. 

Charm’s main source of inspiration comes from God and his mother, but nevertheless his role models in the music industry are ZJ Chrome, Delano from Renaissance and Kurt Riley.  He admires their method of playing music and the response they receive from the crowd when this is done. 

He sees his purpose for being involved in this segment of the music industry as to share his passion for music and its powerful effect on him with the patrons he plays for. 

DJ Charm got his name from his friends who believe that because of his personality, he possesses the uncanny talent of being able to charm his way out of any situation.  He presently works at telecommunications company, Digicel and has a degree in Business and Finance from the University of Technology, Jamaica. 

His past events include: Rum N Roses, KLUMP, Friday Night Live – FNL, Impy Skimpy, Impy Skimpy Pre Party, Wetta d Betta, Rhythm and Booze, Pure:Plush Saturdays and the Labour Day Carnival Celebration in Buffalo in 2005.
