We say Marco you say POLO!
Summer ended with the statement Marco Polo the term derived from the pool game with the same name. This event was well…off the chain…and into the deep. Liquid Frequency arrived at about 5 pm and well at that time the lines were still buzzing outside as people anxiously wanted to get in on the Fun which awaited them. No less than 3 minutes past before we were welcomed by Water in the venue as revelers ran through with water bottles and the sort splashing everyone in sight. Besides if you entered the Wet Zone and left dry then well you were quite fortunate with the plethora of ways to get Wet, Sprinklers, Water Hoses, Big Kahuna Water Slide indeed the Wet Wet Wild was on.
There was never a dull moment as the selection of DJ’s was one well done by Lawless and Datmad especially including the Dynamic duo Karyzma and Kruddy..Peak! if we may say so ourselves. The Dry zone was nothing short of vybes as well and it could be seen on the mechanical bull that the dancing was not only done on level ground but on moving objects as well.
Darkcide did especially well as well as Kurt Riley who went by his alias Party Animal dropping the soca hits on the crowd who well…went wild with soca fever. Really all needs to be said that Marco Polo is an event that should be looked forward to every year and we know that bigger and better things will come from each occurrence.
Frequency seh' MARCO POLO shot!
