Can the Bar go any Higher…?

 

Bar Code wasn’t just a Party it was an event, many a patron has stated that this has kicked off their summer for most events previously left them empty…Bar Code basically and simply put…OVERSHOT!

Bar Code got a 10/10 for venue layout and décor, they got  3/5 for safety,  4/5 for sound quality,  Music Selection did PEAK! 10/10, Hassle Free Bar Access is what it was and great mixology 5/5 for the bars, Crowd 5/5,  Overall 37/40 you will see why we give these ratings for the event in the more detailed breakdown.

Now this event shows how a party should go, as you walk in (if you were early enough) you are greeted by the old spice girls who I will say were H AWT! and seeing all the feather banners from the various sponsors you knew you were at an EVENT! The built in bars of The Estate were obviously used and additional bars were put in place to accommodate the large amount of patrons. We had to give a few marks down for safety there was an absence of barriers to prevent people from falling into the ‘gutter’ area in front of the dj’s  and the peripheral areas of the venue which were secluded were not guarded very well but otherwise all were checked at the gate for weapons and there were no incidents.

The type of crowd that was at Bar Code is the type of crowd any event planner should want at a party they took in all the genres that were played from our Dancehall to Pop and utilized it to their party experience. Of  course we need not comment on the turnout for the event we did say the party OVERSHOT!

Music boy…selection of music was superb and I will comment on this form the beginning ZJ RUSH...took the cake!...from he touched the tables.. He had everyone railing up to just about every song and remix he played...If you missed this part and came later…you missed out! All DJ’s did very well the wide cross section of genres that were played showed that you can party to oldies, pop, rap, and reggae just as much as you can party to Dancehall.

It needs to be mentioned that the extra features such as the Old Spice Lounge and the Pan Chicken and Soup from Mama Ice (one of the best providers of food and one you can trust to get pan chicken from without getting sick) were a great addition to the event.

Although the party ended at 3:15, it could be seen that no one was unsatisfied the patrons were only disgruntled because they just wanted the party to go on and never end.
